She is such a good example of doing God's Will even when it went against her own deepest desire to serve him in her own way. She was obedient to her vocation, and made FULL use of the Graces provided to her to serve the way He wanted her to.
ReplyDeleteIt poses the question: Am I serving God in the way He wants me to? Or am I trying to serve him according to my own desires? St. Francis Xavier Cabrini dreamed her whole life of how she wanted to serve the Lord, but was asked to abandon those dreams and do something else. She endured many hardships but never gave up. She was obedient.
How important Humility is!
