Kids corner

A leaf out of a book

A little boy opened the family Bible, and looked at the old pages as he turned them. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible.
He picked it up and looked at an old leaf from a tree that had been pressed in between the pages.
“Mama, look what I found!” the boy called out.
“What do you have, dear?” she asked.
With amazement in his voice, the boy replied, “I think it’s Adam’s suit!”

  1. Anyone have any neat things your kids say? Jot 'em here for all of us to enjoy! We can also assign things for the kids to write for school to post here!

  2. My daughter Faith heard someone say "We must stand up for, cherish and guard our religious freedom because it is our first freedom" her response was "That is not our first freedom. God gave us free will. That is our first freedom." We then got to talk about ways to cherish and guard that freedom God gave us. :)

  3. Love the "kid's corner" idea!
What about service for little hands? I am looking for "service from home" ideas that the younger ones can do.The kids are not always able to participate in soup kitchens, hospitals, prisons, or abortion clinics (for obvious reasons)so Im looking for some good organizations they can write letters; draw pictures; or collect food for etc.
    Any suggestions? :)

  4. After morning prayers one morning, my oldest son (10) asked: "If God already knows what we are thinking and what we need, then why do we need to pray to him?" but before I could answer him, my youngest son (5) responded: "when we pray we ARE 'thinking' to him!"
    ..idk. I had to giggle:)
